How to Start a Cold Engine:
First, add the recommended 25:1 fuel mixture (#90 above octane gasoline to 2-stroke engine oil) to the fuel tank, then follow the steps below:
- Turn on the ignition switch on the handle.
- Press the oil bulb about 10 times until it fills with fuel.
- Pull the choke lever up fully to close the choke.
- Pull the starter quickly and forcefully 1-3 times.
- Push the choke lever back fully to open the choke.
- Then, pull the starter until the engine starts.
After completing the above 6 steps in sequence, the blower will start and maintain smooth operation.
Machine Maintenance:
- Our new machine requires a break-in period. To ensure the blower's durability, it's important to avoid running it at maximum speed during initial usage.
- During the initial break-in period, we recommend using a 25:1 fuel mix ratio (#90 octane or higher gasoline to 2-stroke engine oil). Use the mixing oil bottle provided in the package to achieve this ratio. After the break-in period, other fuel mixture ratios such as 40:1 or 50:1 are also suitable.
- To better maintain the machine, please consume all the fuel in the tank after each use, or empty the fuel tank when you're finished using it.
- If you notice significant smoke from the engine, it might be due to an excessive oil-to-fuel ratio. In such cases, it's advisable to add more gasoline to the mixture.
